Other Sports Requiring Protective Netting

Baseball Netting and Fencing

Cricket Netting

The demands placed on protective fences used in cricket are not generally as stringent as those in golf, but the size and weight of a cricket ball must be taken into account when providing protection to property and personnel in close proximity to cricket pitches and practice nets.

Baseball Netting

The increasing popularity of baseball and softball, both in the UK and in other countries, especially when played in inner city areas, means that protective fencing is required to prevent accidental damage to neighbouring property, personnel and vehicles.

Hi-Nets has developed a specially designed baseball practice cage which can accommodate up to 10 batting stations. Fully contained by netting, balls are fed down concrete channels to a central collection point before being recycled to the automatic pitching machine.

Rugby and Football Netting

Protective fencing is normally required where property or roads and footpaths are situated next to sports pitches or practice grounds. The fence and the netting itself must be sufficiently robust to withstand the size and weight of the ball, and tall enough to prevent accidental escape.
