The Golf Pod

The Golf Pod is a netted stand-alone golf training and practice facility offering the user the ability to hit balls at least 25-30 metres, and to be able to monitor the direction and flight without requiring the normal dimensions and scale of a full size driving range.

The pod can be constructed on a small site within inner city boundaries or elsewhere, and offers users the opportunity to train and practice with security but without the necessity of travelling to distant driving ranges or golf courses.

A standard 30 metre pod can contain up to 10 practice bays. The bays themselves can be fitted with roofs to shelter users from the elements.

A further possibility is to install electronic ball tracking and prediction equipment, allowing golf professionals and teachers to effectively coach students and players.
